Here's a great "Forgiveness" idea from Pastor Gaylan Grant

ATTENTION! North Texas District Pastors

A wonderful opportunity has come our way in relation to the Nothing’s Too Hard for God Campaign and the Theme for May of "Forgiveness."

Missionary Darrell Beebe, and his wife Sherri, will be in North Texas from May 3-24th. They are scheduling services for those Sundays, Wednesdays or any other day that would serve your ministry purpose. The only date not available at this time is Sunday, May 17th, when they will be at Bethel Temple in Killeen, Texas. (They actually postponed a trip to the Solomon Islands to be in North Texas during the month of May so they could work in conjunction with the campaign.)

Perhaps their name doesn’t ring a bell for you, but the Beebes were missionaries to the South Pacific island of Palau. Their story was told in Today’s Pentecostal Evangel and can be downloaded at http://www.2b4giving.com/. In a nutshell, their home was invaded, Darrell and his son were viciously beaten, Sherri and her daughter were beaten, raped and thoroughly traumatized. The Beebes have walked through the valley of the shadow of death and moved from that place of terror to a place of peace and forgiveness. After a time of healing and the passage of time, they were able to go back to Palau, confront one of their attackers and practice the art of forgiveness. They practice what they teach. I can think of no story more powerful than theirs to illustrate this powerful theme of forgiveness.

If Darrell and Sherri are with you for only one service, they will share their story. Alone, their story is moving and powerful. If they are with you two services, in the second service they will do more ministry regarding Forgiveness. Darrell shared with me that as a result of their ministry on the topic Forgiveness, they have begun to see significant miracles of physical as well as emotional and spiritual healing. Darrell and Sherri Beebe

The Beebes have authored a book entitled Darkness at Dawn. I have CDs I can duplicate and send to you if you want to know more. As an old friend, they have asked that I do their booking for them here in North Texas. You can contact me at 254-526-2003 church or 254-319-8302 cell. To learn more, please go to their web site and check out their story. Then pray about their coming and being with you during May as a support to the Nothing’s Too Hard for God Campaign.

The Beebes have also been endorsed by Emerge Ministries who was their primary care givers for three years as their lives were healed. They have also been endorsed by Bro. George O. Wood.

Blessings!
Gaylan Grant

Pastor's Planning Day Update

What an amazing day! Challenges from our Superintendent Rick DuBose and Media Chair Tom McMahan, and then Rick Griepp's discussions of ways to use the campaign resources and great ideas...We had planned for 70 pastors and other NTHFG team members and almost 200 showed up! There was electricity in the air as we heard ways the campaign has already been reaching into communities and helping churches to grow and change lives. Details from the meeting will continue to be posted. Thanks to all of you who came! And there are many more who couldn't be there but have indicated they will be using the campaign to reach their communities in 2009!

Send your testimonies about changed lives and we'll share them with everyone!

We did the campaign during the summer here in Atlanta and had lots of comments from the community. We still have our billboard up on hwy 59. We have contacted the prayer center and discovered that people called in as a result of our radio ads and our billboard. Our congregation also used the yard signs at their homes.

Let me share a testimony from our pastor in Mineral Wells.
The church is very small and has no funds to allocate to the campaign. He bought a sack of the wrist bands and has been ministering to folks around town and praying for their needs. After he has ministered (in Wal Mart, DQ, MacDonalds) he gives them a wrist band to wear and reminds them to keep in touch when God comes through and answers the prayer.
No church is too small to be a part!
